Algebra 1 is the study of linear equations and inequalities including systems, functions, exponential functions, quadratic functions, and equations. | |

Advanced Algebra Year 9-12 Prerequisite: Algebra I |
Advanced Algebra 1 includes all Algebra 1 topics while moving at a faster pace and incorporating some Algebra 2 topics. | |

Geometry
Year 10-12 Prerequisite: Algebra I | Geometry is the study of rigid transformations, congruence theorems, similarity, right triangle trigonometry, measurement, and circles. | |

Adv. Geometry
Year 10-12 Prerequisite: Adv. Algebra | Advanced Geometry includes all Geometry topics while moving at a faster pace and incorporating probability, and statistics. | |

Algebra II
Year 9-12 Prerequisite: Geometry | Algebra 2 is the study of irrational and complex numbers, exponential functions, rational functions, radical functions, and logarithms. | |

Adv. Algebra II
Year 11-12 Prerequisite: Adv. Geometry | Advanced Algebra 2 includes all Algebra 2 topics while moving at a faster pace and including 12 weeks of trigonometry. | |

Triganometry Semester 12 Prerequisite: Algebra II |
Trigonometry is the study of triangles, periodic functions and their graphs, and trig functions and their identities. The semester class will also include Algebra 2 review. | |

Pre-Calculus Semester 12 Prerequisite: Triganometry |
Pre-Calculus will continue with Algebra 2 review and extend to conic sections, matrices, and sequences and series. | |

Calculus Year 12 Prerequisite: Pre-Calculus |
Calculus is the study of limits, derivatives and their applications, and integrals and their applications. This year long class will prepare you for college Calculus. | |

Math Lab Year 9-10 |
Math Lab enrollment is by teacher recommendation. The focus is on improving basic math skills including; integer operations, solving equations, fractions, and additional assistance with the studentsâ€™ core math class. | |

Algebra II |
Opp Room enrollment is by teacher recommendation. It has the same focus as Math Lab with few students. | |

College Algebra Semester 12 Prerequisite: Algebra I & II |
Must have completed two years of high school algebra with a "C" or better and have 22 or higher ACT or an appropriate ASSET/COMPASS score OR complete Intermediate Algebra with a "C" or better The College Algebra course reviews the standard topics of Algebra. The students will study linear and quadratic equations, functional notations, systems of equations, matrix algebra, and determinants. Graphing linear, quadratic, rational, logarithmic and exponential functions will also be studied. |
